Veterans
"A soldier is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and including, their life."
I am a veteran. Veteran's rights are very important to me.
In most instances a Veterans Service Office ("VSO") will assist veterans for no charge for many veterans benefits. However, if your claim is denied then you might want to consider having an accredited attorney represent you for your appeal. Additionally, the VSO is not qualified to advise you on all the complex relationships between your veterans benefits and your estate planning, such as Medicaid. When and how you receive veterans benefits must be considered in the context of your family, financial facts and other applicable State and Federal laws.
Important Rights
Some of the important rights the veteran is entitled to include:
Aid & Attendance
Burial and Memorial Benefits
Dependents and Survivors Health Care & other Benefits
GI Bill Education and Training
GI Bill Home Loan Guaranty
Service-Connected Disability Benefits
Servicemembers Civil Relief Act
VA Health Benefits
VA Life Insurance
VA Pension
Are you a veteran? Then you and your family are entitled to benefits that others cannot have. Are you currently on active duty? Then you may be entitled to relief under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. Are you retired from military service? You may be a senior considering long-term life planning and what to do with your estate. Uncle Sam has some special benefits just for veterans like you. And minefields for the unwary.
An excellent resource to introduce you to VA benefits is the Federal Benefits for Veterans, Dependents and Survivors publication from the Veterans Administration. They also offer a summary brochure outlining benefits.
How I Can Help
An accredited attorney is uniquely qualified to analyze and integrate your veterans benefits with other important family and financial issues. I will work with you integrating and coordinating these benefits to maximize their value to your and your family. As a qualified VA accredited attorney I can prepare, present and prosecute your claims before the VA. There is an old saying that one who represents himself has a fool for a client. You are at a severe disadvantage if you represent yourself because VA laws and regulations are byzantine complex, convoluted and are constantly changing. Let me help you.
I am an accredited VA attorney and look forward to helping you.
